As Head of Consulting at Wilmington Healthcare, Rahul lends his extensive NHS expertise towards helping Industry to leverage the power of information to make better decisions and contribute to improvements in healthcare.
Drawing on Wilmington Healthcare’s unparalleled and trusted NHS data and analytics capabilities, and HSJ’s access to NHS stakeholders and insights into the changing NHS landscape, coupled with their own specialist insight and expertise, his team delivers bespoke and effective solutions to our customers.
Rahul joined the team in September 2022 from the NHS, where he built and developed a Consulting team working with NHS Commissioners and providers over the last 11 years: growing from a team of 3 to a 120 members’ strong and specialising in health and social care – with a focus on developing the team’s analytics and digital consulting offers.
Rahul has provided leadership on a range of NHS transformation projects including: pathway redesign and business case development; demand capacity modelling; service/provider mapping and options appraisal; primary care digital transformation enabling the deployment of digital first primary care solutions, supporting the development of the funding allocation model for the Vanguard programme at NHS England.
During his 11-year tenure with the NHS, Rahul has worked in the Commissioning Support Unit, with NHS England National and Regional teams including working with NHS England during the height of the pandemic as Deputy Director for National Covid PMO; with ICSs across London and the South of England; across Primary, Secondary & Community care, Mental Health and projects spanning Health and Social Care.
Rahul brings with him a deep knowledge of and Networks within the NHS, experience of developing partnerships with health and social care organisations and a track record of delivering largescale transformation in healthcare organisations.
