Having worked in the healthcare industry for more than 16 years, in both pharma and the NHS, Roger brings wide-ranging knowledge and experience to the role.
Prior to joining Wilmington Healthcare, Roger was Senior Regional Access Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led new customer- focused initiatives for the company in cardiology and oncology.
In the NHS, his previous experience includes working for the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust as General/Operations Manager for four years, where he led key hospital directorates, including surgery and medicine.
Roger has a strong track record in managing successful projects and change initiatives to improve organisational efficiency and operational effectiveness in both pharma and the NHS. He is also experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams and promoting cross-functional working.
His technical management expertise includes value chain, inventory and capacity management as well as service and process redesign, quality assurance procedures and policy creation and implementation.
Being able to create a shared purpose across boundaries is key to partnership working and Roger has successfully achieved this in his work on NHS improvement initiatives. He has also led training courses to assist pharma account teams with partnership working.
