Network meetings

Wilmington Healthcare has successfully developed a Transformation and Sustainability Network conference model over the past six years, to provide networking opportunities amongst a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare professionals, at regular educational events.

Our individual networks focus on mental health, neurological conditions, rheumatology/MSK disorders, and diabetes; with the potential to further expand into other therapy areas. Currently covering eight regions of England we are actively nurturing relationships with key healthcare personnel from the East Midlands, East of England, North East, North West, South East, South West, West Midlands, and Yorkshire and Humber areas; with an average attendance of 70 delegates per meeting.

By working closely with locally identified Chairs plus NHS partners (such as the Strategic Clinical Networks, Academic Health Science Networks and NHS England) in the development and delivery of these events, we invite the sharing of good practice in commissioning and STP workstreams, whilst providing valuable networking opportunities. The meetings enable active discussions to support local STP delivery of high quality, outcomes focused and value for money services, aligned to developing Accountable Care system models. Places are complimentary to NHS, Charity and other non-profit related organisations.

The meetings are supported financially by pharmaceutical companies and other independent providers, however their support is non-promotional – working alongside the NHS to learn from the speakers and attendees in focus areas. This provides a platform for better partnership working and improved market presence. Details of sponsorship packages are available upon request.

Formerly known as Regional Commissioning Networks, the name of the networks has recently been updated to reflect the increasing focus on STPs as the future for innovation and change, to Regional Transformation and Sustainability Networks. The aims, objectives and structure of the series will remain the same.
