Wilmington Healthcare is organising an interactive neurology network meeting for a small group of clinicians, commissioners and STP leads to understand the barriers to developing specific services and how these can be overcome in Neurology.
The North West Neurology Transformation workshop will be held on Wednesday 23rd May, chaired by Dr Mark Kellett – Clinical Director, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
Taking a disease specific focus, we wish to explore service commissioning issues in epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s Disease and headache for neurology patients. The workshop will help clinicians articulate to commissioners how they want services to develop to help commissioners and STPs understand the neurology landscape and need for service transformation, and gain understanding of what would be required to achieve this. We hope that by identifying key points we could follow up with action related commissioning support activities to help these clinicians and commissioners to address service issues.
The meeting is accredited by the CPD Standards Office and a certificate will be available for your records if required.
